Who is MAN? individual or Society?

Man is not individual nor independent, man alone can not win any race, though each and every activity of man is dependent, like Food is dependent on nature, life is dependent on oxygen. On serious note, man is bound by some rules, even each and every one is bound by rules.God is bound to do good things, only this is rule, if HE is not doing good, HE can't be god.
Whenever we read "survival the fittest" by Charles Darvin we found ultimate goal of individual is to survive and fulfill his need at any cost. Sometimes he may fulfill all need of his body (Sharir, शरीर) and Heart (manha, मन), but some thing missed out which is  intellectuality( Buddhi, बुद्धि ) and Sprit ( Atma, आत्मा). So is survival the fittest is right??
The ultimate happiness (sukh, सुख) is combination of all four sharir, manha, buddhi and atma. An individual can only get this sukh in this sense to be part of society. So along with solely importance of individual, Man is also part of society. Like individual, society is having all four components exists.
Like in car individual tyre, engine, seats, steering etc have importance individualy but jointly they become car and more value.
When individual collectively be a society with all four components. Then it is called HINDU jeevan darshan.
We are not able to see this, because we live this.
